I’ve been using the pro version for years. Today I needed to export to my email address but it doesn’t work. Please help!!!

Great for keeping track of spending. I log all of my credit card purchases so that I can make sure to pay them off each month. I would like the ability to edit existing expense categories instead of having to deleted and recreate them with the changes.

I’ve left maybe one other app review in my life but this one’s a necessary to review. I’ve used this app on and off for about two years but due to over spending during the holidays, I’ve made it my New Years resolution to keep track on a daily basis with monthly budget reviews. Here’s why this app has been better than any other for expense tracking and budgeting; Firstly, if you’re truly trying to stick to a budget each month then daily tracking is absolutely necessary. People may love mint and other automatic tracking apps due to ease but I find the less I look at my budget the easier it is to overspend. The fact that I input my every expense into this app keeps me conscientious of my spending. I try and do it as soon as I spend but some days I just check my credit card and input everything at the end of the day. I use another habit tracking app called Habit to make sure I’m inputting my expenses daily. The other benefit is the recurring expenses. It’s nice to be able to put in the specific date of when these expenses occur. I also love the monthly expense chart which makes it easy to review every month and see where I was on track or overspent. Another aspect of the app is income tracking which I don’t personally use but probably should start. If you’re part of FIRE or just someone who always looks to make an extra buck then this app just gets better with income tracking. If you have a small side business it would be awesome to track income and expenses just using the business category and see how it’s going over time. To end this lengthy review, I can’t go without saying the single time payment for the premium version is amazing. I went one year with the free version which was enough for me then but once my reoccurring expenses grew I wanted the premium since they cap the amount of reoccurring expenses in the free version. I HATE subscription services unless it requires significant updates or ongoing service. But for any single app on the App Store, I avoid monthly subscriptions at all costs and truly pushes this app to the top of expense tracking apps with a reasonable one time payment for the premium version. Do yourself a favor and take budgeting seriously and start tracking!

can’t send report to email. Doesn’t allow me to view a yearly review of each entry for tax purposes

If you adjust the time on reoccurring expenses the expense shows up twice for the month. The more you edit a start date the more the same expense gets added to monthly expenses instead of just changing the date.

Latest update added a pop up ad to my paid version that’s been ad free for years. No bueno.

This app makes tracking your expenses so much easier. I feel in control of my money!

I am trying to keep track of the categories of spending for Amazon and the credit cards, which commonly just go lumped together for us. This app makes it really easy!

I like the simplicity of the app. It allows me to track monthly expenses and income...quickly and at a glance.

The day I’m about to organize each account, let’s say I want one account to come 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. is the day I’ll purchase the pro version!

I’ve been using Expense for years, and it has been so helpful in organizing and budgeting my finances. I upgraded to the pro version and I love that I’m able to make as many bank accounts as I need. I even made an account for cash so I can track my “untraceable” spending. The design of the app is clean and user-friendly. I couldn’t possibly recommend Expense more.

I have been using this app for 2-3 years and it’s AMAZING I no longer have to check my bank app to know if my pending charges have hit to know how much money I have available. I put everything in my app and always know how much money I have, you can preset payments for the dates they are due so you already know not to count on that money, so many functionalities PLUS it’s FREE with NO ADS seriously check it out.

A good simple app, but would like a search feature to find past entry info.

I’ve been using this app for almost a year and it’s fantastic. It lets me see where I’m spending and it’s so easy to use.

This app is great, but could use some improvements. I’m using the free version and haven’t seen an ad yet! I also really like the icons for the spending categories and the pie graph, so you can track where your money is going. I just WISH the app could link with my credit card and banking app so I didn’t have to enter in all the information manually. Because this is so tedious I don’t use the app as much as I should.

And to the point. Simple enough that my spouse won’t shy away from adding to it. No annoying subscription. Request 1: ability to edit name of Expenses Categories after they have already been made. Ie I had a category called Rental. I wanted to call it Rent & Utilities so i could keep all those bills under the one category. However my only option was to delete Rental, create a new category called Rent & Utilities. Then find each past expense that was under Rental and add each of them to the new category. All could’ve been avoided had the app allowed me to edit the category title. Request 2: ability to have spouse download app on their phone, and for (ie) whenever they add an expense, it shows up on my app. In example, i have a “family to-do list” app, and when i add a task on my phone, it shows up immediately on the to do list app on their phone. As is, i just hand them my phone at the end of the day and ask that they add any purchases they made. I wonder if i can sign in to their app on their phone, and if it will auto-sync just like me having two phones with the same app.

Thank you for fixing the update that made the app unusable. Very thankful to be able to use it again. Highly recommend the app.

This is the best expense tracking app in my honest opinion. When I addressed an issue I received a quick response and I no longer have to deal with the problem I had with the app. I will continue to use this app over any other and greatly appreciate the response I received from them. This app allowed me to see how I was spending my money in a simple and efficient way. Very easy to use and keep up with. The expense chart is a eye opener once you see your monthly spending. I now have better spending habits after comparing the total amount spent each month.

I love this app for years but after the update 6 days ago, it won’t open :(

App will no longer opens, crashes instantly. iPhone 11 Pro. Any update?? Can we go back to previous version? I’m 6 days behind on keeping up with my spending. Thanks.

The app was great and now everything is blacked out.

I have loved this app and been using it for years, but I hate the recent update. Can’t see what any of my expenses are when it’s in dark mode (which is what I prefer to keep my phone on). Please fix this!

Please fix the dark mode as now the app is basically useless

I loved this app until the new update, now it won’t even let me open the app anymore. It just closes immediately. Fix this!!

Been using this expense tracker for years. I prefer manually inputting everything versus having to sync with my banks. I just ask that you please fix the dark mode for the app. You cannot see anything if your iPhone is on dark mode now and I prefer dark mode but I need this app.

The latest update broke the app in Dark Mode though.

The color was f the app went black and now I have to uninstall it because I cannot see the letters. Smh
